Non-Evaporable Getters for ELECTRICAL LIGHTING
Introduction
This series of non-evaporable getter is made by pressing alloy powder into square metal sheet. It is suitable for use in vacuum devices that do not allow the use of evaporative getters, and can also be used in combination with evaporative getters to enhance the gettering effect.
DT101 is suitable for high temperature environment; the activation and working temperature of the getter sheet made of DT198 is lower than that of DT101. In addition, the alloy has the characteristic of low absorption efficiency of nitrogen, which is especially suitable for lamps in nitrogen-filled atmosphere; DT299 combines The company's two alloys, DT101 and DT198, have the best characteristics, namely low activation temperature and high hydrogen absorption capacity; DT787 is the latest alloy, and the non-evaporative getter made of it is used in high-intensity discharge lamps. activation. DT787 has several advantages over other alloys. Its hydrogen absorption capacity is much stronger than other alloys, and its capacity to absorb carbon monoxide is comparable to that of DT101. So DT787 offers the best combination of performance for activation and operating temperature as well as hydrogen absorption capacity.
Such getter sheets are widely used in electric light sources and vacuum electronic devices such as high-intensity gas discharge lamps, high-voltage switch tubes, gas purifiers, stainless steel heat preservation containers, etc. This type of getter can use high-frequency induction, electric heating, radiation heating or laser heating to complete the activation process.
